Now that Violet is moving we are quickly running out of places to play. There is either too much stuff to get into or just not enough room to get far. We went out to the park today to give her some freedom. Funny thing though, she didn't go far. Today was Violet's first encounter with grass and I don't think she was really sure what to make of it.

What Violet did this week.

Violet has had a pretty quiet week. We hung around the house mostly. Violet is very excited daddy is getting a 5 day weekend this week. Mommy is excited she gets to sleep in 5 days this weekend.

It's probably time to put the legs back on the table.

Everyone is napping. Except me of course.

We no long have to stand her up like this. She pulls herself up all by herself.

Most babies first laptops are made by Fisher-Price. Not Violet's of course.

Evie is starting to become a little more interested in Violet. I think mostly because she has pieces of baby mum mums stuck to her half the time.

When did that happen??

This week it seems Violet has gone from being my little baby to an independent being. She crawls where she wants to go, she plays with big kid toys, she feeds herself snacks. I'm fairly sure if she could change her own diaper I would be useless.

Big weekend!

Violet has had a big weekend this weekend! She found out she is getting a baby brother, figured out how to crawl forward finally, learned to sit herself up all by herself, and she got her very first ponytail!
